Our client currently has a vacancy for a Chemist to join their Quality department.



Reporting to the Quality Lab Manager, responsibilities of this role will include (but not be limited to):

Initiation, design and prioritization of analytical projects
Write, review and approval of analytical protocols and reports
Selection and approval of chemical raw materials
Review and approval of laboratory investigations
Preparation management of laboratory budget
Ensuring cGMP compliance in all aspects of the laboratory functions
Driving and support of accuracy, reliability and productivity within laboratory area group Seeks creative approach to improve
Human resource management of chemistry dept., including planning, recruitment, training and development.


The successful candidate will be degree qualified (PhD and QP preferred) with a minimum of 5 years solid relevant industry experience. Candidates should have excellent analytical skills with experience in method development, transfer and validation. A strong theoretical and practical knowledge of HPLC's is also essential. Previous supervisory experience advantageous.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills along with the ability to deliver on targets and deadlines.
