Our client currently has a vacancy for an operations-based Human Resources representative (Fixed-Term Contract). Reporting to the Operations Business Unit Manger, this is a crucial role providing advice and support to the smooth running of the department.
Responsibilities of this role will include (but not be limited to):
• Coordination and participation of recruitment process for relevant business unit
• Ensure all new starts are orientated and progressing along a development plan
• Ensure all annual reviews are carried out on time and participate across shifts to ensure consistency
• Rollout and support new policies in relation to time & attendance, overtime etc…
• Create metrics for use in development reviews and follow through on same
• Tracking and management of overtime scheduling and budget
• Resource management across business - particularly to cover for training, absence/holidays and maintenance across shifts
• Extensive reporting and analysis on all of the above and putting corrective measures in place where necessary.
Candidates for this role should hold a formal Management/Human Resources qualification and a minimum 4 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment. You will have strong people management experience and excellent communication skills. You should be innovative with strong influencing skills and be able to demonstrate same. All candidates must have excellent organisational skills and proficiency of working with the Microsoft Suite.
