Exciting Sales Role for B2B Expert (Munster)
 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist and creative lighting company where you will represent a strong brand and extensive portfolio of products. You will build up a strong network of contacts within the architectural, trades, interior design and retail sectors. Our client is looking for an experienced sales person with a minimum of 5 years experience.

The ideal candidate will be driven by targets, be passionate about customer service and achieving both margin and revenue for the company. You will have the opportunity to bring creative and artistic flair to the role as the company develops a state of the art facility to demonstrate the complete product range.

Key Responsibilities

- To generate new business, through effectively networking in Cork, Limerick and Kerry to achieve new business targets
- Develop and qualify new prospects
- Increase awareness of the complete range of products with new and existing accounts, developing strong alliances with people in a position to refer you business
- Creating and implement innovative marketing campaigns to build into the sales process - direct mail, sending information out to prospects, following up leads, online activity
- Working to monthly and quarterly sales targets of up to €500K per annum, you will be responsible for creating and managing a pipeline of sales and reporting against this to the Managing Director
- Working with the MD and support staff you will deliver exceptional customer service and follow up on all active prospects and leads
- To manage the complete sales process from initial prospect to closure, sales cycle can be as short as 2-3 weeks
- Account management of existing business - generating new opportunities within existing client base, identifying new opportunities
- To spot opportunities for new areas of business, upselling and cross-selling where possible

Skills Required

- At least 4-5 years previous sales experience, ideally field based
- Proven track record of sustained success, used to working to and exceeding sales targets
- Any knowledge of the home furniture, interiors, lighting industry would be an advantage
- High levels of resilience and tenacity and a flexible, innovative approach to work.
- Ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers
- Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate at all business levels
- A strong and confident presenter, capable of making compelling high level presentations and delivering seminars and product demonstrations on behalf of the company
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent time management and organisation skills, reliable and trustworthy
- Proactive and driven with a desire to meet and exceed targets, able to take on responsibility
- Self-motivated with a desire to succeed in a challenging environment
- High standard of customer care, a business developer with good problem solving ability
- Ability to take a strategic and macro outlook on every aspect of the job
- Dynamic and results orientated individual who is intelligent, persuasive, forward thinking
- Location - ideally you will be located in or close to Kerry, although this is not essential and be willing to travel for the role
- Full clean driving licence is essential as a company car is provided
- Fluency in English is essential
