My client, a leading multi national company based in the midlands currently has a requirement for a Project Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Detailed design working with A & E firm to ensure full compliance with the company’s global engineering standards, EHS technical standards and risk insurers Standards.
Tendering and procurement of equipment to ensure full compliance to the company’s Financial Policies.
Monitor and control plant construction activities while maintaining base business and provide necessary support. Assist with future development of the facility.
Oversee commissioning of new and upgraded facilities, utilities and equipment.
Validation of new and upgraded facilities, utilities and equipment.
Work for successful External, Division and Corporate audits.
Preparation of capital expenditure requests for the plant.
Communicate effectively with plant departments, plant management, corporate and division engineering.
Conduct business in a manner that will protect human health, safety and the environment by complying with all applicable EHS laws, as well as the company’s global & technical standards.
Experience / Qualifications
Third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline with at least three years experience in an engineering environment in a related industry
The ability to work co-operatively and effectively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships.
Proven problem-solving skills.
Have demonstrated a high standard of personal performance in one’s current position.
