Technicial Manager

Our client is a multi award winning food company who has expaneded to the UK retail market. They are recruiting for a Technical Manager who has come form this background.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a Degree in a Food Science / Food Technology/ Engineering/ Quality or equivalent Science related discipline, with a number of years experience within the food industry in a similar role.
Management experience in a FMCG company, together with good communication skills is required. The candidate must be able to work with a multi-disciplined team to ensure that Quality & Production targets are met.
Maintenance of BRC Standard
Liaise with DAFF on site issues
Maintenance of Pest Control, Calibration Contracts etc
A proven track record of designing, development and implementation of a QMS to a recognised accreditation standard.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Competent in complaints handling
Competent in providing Technical Support both in-house & to customers

Experience dealing with UK Multiples is essential and must be willing to travel to meet customers there.
Being a Self Starter is essential.
