Irish Travel Agency seek experienced Retail Travel Consultant for their Dundrum Branch Office.
Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2years experience in an Irish Travel Agency including all aspects of Retail Travel i.e. sun/ski holidays, long-haul/short-haul travel, consol & internet fares and selling value-added products such as insurance, car hire etc. Must be proficient in CRS : Worldspan is preferred but any other would also be considered. Should have very good selling skills, must be a good communicator both verbal and written, must be a team-player and also be able to work on own initiative, must be able to meet targets. Must be fluent in English.
Candidates with Travel/Tourism courses i.e. do not have minimum 6months fulltime work experience in a Travel Agency - need NOT apply.
Works shift to cover opening hours Mon-Fri + 1 in every 2 or 3 Saturdays with time off in leiu and special arrangements for Sunday noon-4pm (work 1 in every 4)
