Leading Corporate Travel Agency seek Sales / Business Development Manager with strong Travel Industry experience and should be Target Driven, Enthusiastic.
We are currently looking to recruit a Salesperson/ Business Development Manager to increase market share for Corporate Travel division of this Irish Travel Agency. This position will be based in Dublin and will involve travelling throughout the country as required. The ideal candidate should have minimum 2-4years Travel Industry experience with a strong understanding of Corporate Travel - all related products CRS, Fares, Management Information, Client preferred suppliers, pricing models etc. Also required - Knowledge of Account Management, Client Retention, Business Development, responding to Tenders, Pitching sales and interaction with decision-makers/purchasing Managers, suppliers etc.
Should have excellent selling skills, must be a good communicator both verbal and written, must be a team-player and also be able to work on own initiative, must be able to meet targets. Must be fluent in English.
The Person:
· Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
· Strong administration and computer skills - i.e. Powerpoint, word etc
· Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
· Good customer relationship management abilities
· Energy, enthusiasm and drive to be successful.
The Job:
· Meet or exceed established sales goals set by management.
· Gather market intelligence on competitors and the marketplace
· Participate in and support the company business strategy and strategy development.
Salary
· EUR35K + % of sales
Candidates with Travel/Tourism courses i.e. do not have minimum 1 years fulltime work experience in a Travel Agency - need NOT apply.
